ABBA Reunites for Gay Rights
ABBA was reunited for the first time in ten years in support of gay rights in Poland. According to The Local, the four are “auctioning signed posters, photos and music in support of gay rights in Poland”.“The proceeds of the auction will go to Warsaw Pride, which has come under attack from Poland's new president, Lech Kaczynski. He banned last summer's gay pride celebrations in Warsaw, said that homosexuals were "not a natural part of Poland's culture," and challenged gay people to repress their sexuality”.
Well, ABBA could rejoin again for many other causes that are important and beneficial to humanity. There have been a lot of catastrophes and famines around the world, and much money needs to be raised around the world everyday. Hope gay rights will not be the only cause for ABBA to rejoin and use their very big name to get money.
